CNG to sponsor Victory for Kids Benefit

Hartford, CT, February 27, 2001 - Connecticut Natural Gas Corporation (CNG) is a major sponsor of the Viktory for Kids Benefit Olympic Ice Skating Show at the International Skating Center of Connecticut in Simsbury on Friday and Saturday, March 2nd and 3rd.

Viktory for Kids will benefit the Children of Chernobyl Relief Fund.

Olympic and World figure skating champion Viktor Petrenko will host the program. The Children of Chernobyl Relief Fund and the International Skating Center are program co-producers.

"Children are every country's most important resource," said James P. Laurito, President and Chief Operating Officer of CNG. "We're delighted to lend our corporate support to the VFK program. We wish Mr. Petrenko well in his efforts to develop a Neonatal Intensive Care Clinic in the Ukraine that will help provide the specialized medical care needed for the children of Chernobyl."
